Wandle Park in Croydon has recently had a major makeover which included bringing the river wandle back above ground. A new lake and skate park were also introduced.
Today, Wandle Park is very popular with dog walkers, joggers and local residents. A new band stand was also introduced which has seen some performances take place. The Cafe in the park has also been redeveloped and is open daily.

Friends of Wandle Park Croydon:
The Friends of Wandle Park is a group of local people that care about our local green space. the Friends are made up from all areas of the community and users in the park. The friends group is run by a committee that sits once a month to discuss issues in the park and organise events.
There is a small car park at the park which is accessible from Cornwall Road. There is also limited parking available on the roads near to this park but please do remember not to block driveways or cause issues for residents.
